LSBF in Singapore visits Tiger Beer Brewery

LSBF in Singapore organised an outing for its School of Hospitality students to visit the home of Singapore’s locally brewed Tiger Beer. Accompanied by 2 lecturers, they had an amazing day filled with fun and laughter as students saw first-hand how the iconic Singapore beer is brewed.

Students were taken through every step of the brewing process, from the key ingredients used to bottling and packaging. They were also given the chance to try their hands at tapping a pitch of draught beer. The session ended with a beer sampling session at the famous Tiger Tavern.

Ratissh Balakrishnan, a lecturer from the School of Hospitality, said: “This is a wonderful opportunity for the students to gain hands on experience. Industrial experience is the core of our programme, hence we believe field trips will help them become even more career-ready in the hospitality sector.”
