Graduated from Central Queensland University, Australia, with a Master of Business Administration and a Master of Information Systems, Mr. Mohamed Siddiq has more than 25 years of teaching experience in Information Systems and Business Management. He has been in various roles such as a Programme Coordinator, Programme Manager, Senior Lecturer, Head of School, Campus Director and Dean.
Mr. Mohamed Siddiq has taught at universities, polytechnics, colleges, and institutions of higher education in Singapore, Myanmar, Australia, Uzbekistan, and Canada. During his teaching career, he was also involved in academic quality assurance and university liaison. He has been an academic counsellor and has coached and advised numerous students on their academic journey. Beside his experiences as a Chair of the Unfair Practises Committee and Chair of the Academic Review Board, he has assessed prior learning for credit transfers to universities and has been involved in the accreditation of higher education institutions by external accreditation bodies.
He has a knack for making complex things look simple, and has been a favourite among his students, peers and staff. He likes trekking, brisk walking, and enjoys badminton and photography.
