LSBF Singapore Campus hosts 9th Graduation Ceremony

On Saturday 24 June, the London School of Business and Finance Singapore Campus held its 9th graduation ceremony at the Carlton Hotel, Singapore.

The ceremony recognised the academic achievements of over 100 graduates from various programmes at the School of Business and Law, the School of Advanced Technology and Digital Media, the Chinese School of International Studies and the School of Professional Education.

This year’s event was significant as the University of Greenwich’s senior staff members, Professor Jane Harrington, Vice-Chancellor and CEO of the University of Greenwich, Nicholas Hand, Director of International Affairs, Business School at the University of Greenwich, and Dr Raj Dass, Principal Lecturer and International Partnerships Coordinator (Southeast Asia) at the University of Greenwich, attended as VIPs.

The ceremony was opened with an address by Dr N Varaprasad, Non-Executive Director and Board Member of the London School of Business and Finance. He encouraged graduates to: “Be curious, creative, compassionate, collaborative, critical and courageous,” which he believes they can succeed at in this AI age.

This was followed by a keynote speech, by Professor Harrington. She gave the graduates an encouragement: “To be confident, be proud, be caring, and, above all, aim high” as they take the next step into their future.

Mr Rathakrishnan Govind, CEO of LSBF Global, closed the event with a congratulatory speech. He advised the graduates to “always remember that the greatest journeys begin with a single step” as they begin their journey in the career world.
